MEET THE TEAM
As Cofounder and Managing Partner, Rob Condon leadsthe overall vision and direction of the firm and is a member of CKC’s investment committee. With 30+ years of M&A transaction advisory experience, Rob manages the Houston and Connecticut offices. He advises a broad set of clients including several private equity funds and their portfolio companies with complex transaction planning and structuring, governance, tax strategy and compliance related matters. Rob has assisted clients across a diverse set of industries including healthcare, biotechnology, manufacturing &distribution, energy, franchising, hospitality, business services and technology.Prior to CKC, Rob founded Condon & Co., PC a leading middle market Tax& Business Advisory firm with offices in Houston, TX and Stamford, CT. He also cofounded StaffLeader International, a tax and accounting BPO service provider with India-based delivery centers. Previously, Rob was a Partner for a large regional accounting firm and led the firms’ Houston Tax operations. Rob started his career with Ernst & Young as a Senior Tax Manager in the Private Client and Entrepreneurial Services Group.
Rob is an active member with The University of Houston and supports several Houston-based civic organizations by serving as an officer on various nonprofit boards.
He received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston and remains an active member of the alumni association. Additionally, he is a licensed CPA for the state of Texas and is a member of the AICPA.
Rob CondonPartner, Cofounder
As Cofounder and Managing Partner, Alpesh Kadakia leads the strategic direction of the firm and heads its investment committee. Alpesh brings 25+ years of experience in operations, consulting, and business services across a broad range of industries and geographies. Prior to cofounding CKC Partners, Alpesh was the Senior Managing Director of PwC’s Business Transformation Advisory practice based in Silicon Valley. While at PwC, he advised over a third of the Fortune 100 and several leading private equity firms on large-scale operations transformation programs. During his tenure, he also served as co-chair of the Committee on Service Delivery Innovation leading the firm’s investment, partnerships, and solutions in areas such as Digital, Cognitive/Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and B2B/B2C Enterprise SaaS. Alpesh was also a senior advisor with Deloitte Consulting, helping clients develop and execute global shared services and outsourcing projects. Prior to Deloitte, Alpesh cofounded StaffLeader International, a tax and accounting BPO service provider with India-based delivery centers. He began his career as a financial analyst with IBM and also heldvarious leadership positions at Hewlett Packard.
Alpesh is active in the non-profit community. While at PwC, he and his team led a $1m pro-bono project for Feeding America, the nation’s largest non-profit network of 200 food banks engaged in the fight to end hunger. The project focused on identifying and capturing inefficiencies across the network which led to the development of a roadmap/strategythat yielded savings equivalent to ~22.5m additional pounds of food (18.5m meals) to those in need. Alpesh is also an active contributor with Second Harvest and various other social impact organizations in the Bay Area.
He received his BA degree in Accounting from University of Texas at Austin and an MPA from McCombs School of Business.
Alpesh KadakiaPartner, Cofounder
As the Operations Partner for CKC Partners, Tammie Milum joined the team at its inception in 2016. She oversees the administration of the company as well as its affiliates. Tammie has 30 years of combined accounting and operations experience in both public and industry sectors. She served in both audit and tax roles in large international and middle-market firms. She worked in the telecommunications industry for 13 years in the roles of both Controller and Director of KPIs, developing and automating a system of operational transformation. Presently, Tammie manages the shared services platform across several affiliated companies to provide practice support including accounting, client administration, HR, IT and risk management.
Tammie holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, a licensed CPA in the state of Texas, member of the AICPA, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
As Director, Brian Meres joined CKC Partners and predecessor companies in 2013. He has spent more than 20 years advising, lending, and investing in middle-market companies, resource firms, and investment funds. Most recently, he was a Portfolio Manager of an energy investment fund, where he was involved in the acquisition, integration, and financial management of small exploration and production companies and oil and natural gas asset packages. Prior to that, he was a Credit Offer for an investment fund and a Vice President within GE Capital’s middle-market lending and leasing business. In those capacities, Brian underwrote, documented, closed and portfolio managed over $1 billion in structured financings, each ranking in size from $1 million to $50 million, across a wide range of industries and a diverse set of collateral types. Additionally, he is a CFA charterholder.
Brian obtained a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.
As Director at CKC Partners, Becky Clamp joined the team in 2017. With over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, she previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Gulfstream Trading, Ltd, a company that specializes in oil trading. At Gulfstream, she was responsible for all banking relationships, treasury management, and financial reporting, while also working in operational and trading roles. Prior to Gulfstream, her experience includes serving as Vice President of Finance at a software firm, overseeing a transition team during MBO, several acquisitions, and system integration. Her background also includes Controller of a publicly traded transportation firm, VP of Finance at a midstream company, VP of Operations and Analysis at a healthcare company, working with several startup companies, and four years in public accounting.
Becky is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and holds a B.S. from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Rice University.
Will is a member of CKC Partner’s investment team. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, transactional due diligence, pre- and post-merger integration, and inorganic growth.
Will is responsible for identifying potential investments, deal structuring, assessing transaction pre- and post-close, and conducting due diligences. Additionally, Will assists our companies through deals advisory and operational guidance. Will brings 10+ years of experience across M&A, corporate strategy, and operations. Prior to joining CKC Partners, Will worked in Deloitte Consulting’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice in the Washington, D.C. office. While at Deloitte, he advised Fortune 500 companies on all stages of the deal continuum, including corporate vision and alignment, divestitures, transaction planning, TSA planning/synergy capture, and post-merger integration. His clients operated within a wide range of verticals, such as Life Sciences, Defense, Traditional Manufacturing, and CPG. Prior to Deloitte, Will worked at a Fortune 500 Retail/CPG firm focusing on operational effectiveness and market risk mitigation.
Will received an M.S. in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Microbiology from The Ohio State University. Will enjoys golfing, and loves to stay up to date on the current business happenings. Will joined CKC Partners in 2017.
William HwangSenior Associate
Fernando leads CKC Partner’s Business Development efforts. His areas of expertise include deal sourcing and structuring, transaction management, and confirmatory due diligence.
Fernando is responsible for driving the firm’s deal origination initiatives for a combination of investment and advisory solutions. Fernando has developed his deep expertise as a core team member of multiple private equity firms and fund platforms such as Bradford Lane, Search Fund Accelerator, Stables Partners and Mikhail Capital, leading firms in Boston and San Francisco. At those firms, Fernando led the deal flow enhancement, conducted financial analysis and valuation, and created investment strategies for potential acquisitions. Previous experience includes market research consulting for Boston-based venture capital investors and financial analysis at ESB Group (A Kathrein Company).
Fernando received a B.S. in International Law from the University of Valencia, an M.S. in Business Management from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and an M.S. in International Business with an emphasis in Finance from the Hult International Business School. Additionally, he has received certificates in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Harvard University and Bocconi University. In his off time, you can find him hiking and trekking through Northern California’s beautiful scenery. Fernando joined CKC Partners in 2018.
Fernando GarciaSenior Associate
Rajeev is a member of CKC Partner’s investment team. His areas of expertise include growth strategy, go-to-market planning, market- and competitive-analysis, target operating model design, and deal identification.
On the investment side, Rajeev is responsible for identifying potential investment opportunities, structuring deals, and conducting commercial due diligences. Additionally, he drives our companies to achieve peak performance. Rajeev works with CKC’s companies to optimize their strategies and operations through revenue enablement, organic and inorganic growth, and cost effectiveness. Prior to joining CKC partners, Rajeev worked in Altman Vilandrie & Company’s San Francisco office providing strategy consulting for Technology, Media, and Telecom firms. His engagements included achieving salesforce effectiveness for a telecom infrastructure company, forecasting product-market fit for a Fortune 100 wireless carrier, and shaping the growth strategy for a mid-market managed services software company. Before joining Altman Vilandrie, Rajeev advised companies across a wide range of industries at PwC Management Consulting, where his engagements included reshaping the organizational structure of a Fortune 1000 medical devices manufacturer and working with a financial services firm to recapture competitive positioning in the current market and regulatory environment.
Rajeev attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he received a B.A. in a self-designed major of Market Analysis and Structural Economics, as well as a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. On the weekends, you can find him teaching himself the ukulele or playing pickup basketball. He joined CKC Partners in 2018.
