Although each situation is unique and commitments vary, Operating Partners generally engage with the CKC Partners in the following capacity:
Pre-deal:
- define/refine a thematic investment thesis
- source investment opportunities through their personal industry relationships / network
- support the due diligence process during opportunity evaluation
- provide insight into appropriate valuations and key investment terms
- facilitate deal execution and Day 1 readiness
Post-deal:
- work closely with portfolio company management to design and implement the operating plan and key initiatives
- drive change management and stakeholder alignment, provide oversight and governance
- assuming the Executive Chairman role or other board and senior advisory positions, as appropriate
